How to report quantities in jitbit-sqmtool.televic.com

Following are the quantities to be reported:

Quantity In Lot:
A Lot can be a delivered Purchase Order (PO), a Production Order (ProdOrd), or any batch (datecode,..) that is addressed.
Example: If production reports 2 failures, this quantity should be set to the quantity of the ProdOrd (e.g. 100pcs).

Quantity Tested:
Quantity of products checked (conform or not-conform) versus requirement.
This number should be updated if more pcs of the lot are tested (or the lot is sorted) at Televic.
Example: If production reports 2 failures, the "Quantity Tested" should be set to the quantity of the ProdOrd that were tested (e.g. 100pcs).

Quantity Failed:
The number of products that are non-conform after check at Televic (or after confirmation by the supplier, following a sample wise test at Televic).  This number should be updated if the lot is tested (sorted) at Televic, or if the supplier indirectly accepts the whole lot is non-conform by allowing them to be scrapped (and sending replacements or a credit).

Quantity Returned:
The number of products physically returned to the supplier (typically booked to stock xx60, with a reservation set to them).

Note: For calculating the PPM (parts per million rejected), the maximum of (Quantity Failed) and (Quantity Returned) is taken.

Example:
Quantity In Lot: 100
Quantity Tested: 3
Quantity Failed: 3
Quantity Returned:
In above case, it is very likely all parts are non-conform (as quantity tested and quantity failed is the same).  If the supplier asks to physically return all parts, the Quantity Returned should be set to 100.  If the supplier will send replacements (and indirectly accepts all parts are non-conform) the Quantity Failed should be set to 100 (and the Quantity Returned can be left empty or set to 0).
In both cases, when calculating the PPM (see note above), the reject rate will be 100% or 1.000.000 PPM.
